Design for America is a diverse student group inclusive of all majors- some of our current majors include genetics, economics, policy, arts and humanities, advertising, packaging, computer science, and business. We're not interested in what you do. We're interested in how you do it. Questions? Comments? Suggestions? We'll take that too.

STUDIO LEAD
The studio lead facilitates all projects, acts as a resource to team leads,  grows the club and develops leaders.

TEAM LEAD
Team Leads direct a single project. They work in unison with their designers, guiding them through the design process.

DESIGNER
3-6 students work on a project each semester. Designers connect with the community and develop solutions.

FELLOW
The fellow is a college graduate employed through DFA National working as a mentor for the studio leads.

Professionals

COMMUNITY PARTNER
Although not every project needs a Community Partner, Community Partners are a key way to creating sustainable solutions. Community Partners are connected to organizations in the community addressing the same issue as the project team. The relationship between Partners and Projects  can vary, one example being the DFA Team develops a solution while the Community Partner sustains or puts the solution to use.

MENTOR
Mentors are professionals and experts in the field the Project Team is working in. Mentors meet with the Teams at times convenient for them, providing direction, insight and feedback along the way.
